A Spark of Thought

In Buddhism, impermanence (anicca) is one of the core teachings. It reminds us that all phenomena — thoughts, emotions, identities, even entire worlds — are in a constant state of change. The quote:

“Just as there are no distinct beginnings, there is no final state. You must always be in flux.”

...speaks directly to this truth. Rather than seeking a fixed destination or a moment of ultimate arrival, the Dharma teaches us to be present with the unfolding. Enlightenment itself isn’t a static “end” but a dynamic, ongoing awareness of the present moment — one that requires continual practice, openness, and letting go.

There is no singular “starting point,” just as there is no permanent “completion.” We are invited instead to dance with the flux, to meet each moment with compassion, curiosity, and clarity. Liberation isn’t about escaping change — it’s about awakening within it.
